A black bear sighting was reported in March 18 around our neighborhood. The Florida Wildlife Association will send wildlife officers to investigate the sighting. The commission recommends not leaving garbage containers on the curb until the morning of trash pickup so bears do not begin searching for food in neighborhoods. If you see a black bear, walk away slowly and carefully and report the sighting.

Daylight Saving is upon us, water your lawn twice!
Whether you enjoy the concept of daylight saving or not, we are now in the season where the Florida heat is beating down upon our lawns and twice-a-week watering is allowed! If your home has an even-numbered address, you may water on Thursday and Sunday, otherwise you may water on Wednesday and Saturday.
